Growing up I always knew that I wanted to work in some profession where I could help people feel better. I wanted to be a doctor for the longest time, but I just felt this wasn't the "right" calling for me.

     However, when I was a junior in high school, I decided that I wanted to be a massage therapist. I knew this was the way for me to help people who were in pain and needed relief and a healing touch. That didn't mean however, that I didn't try to run away from what I thought I should be doing.

    After graduating highschool, instead of going to massage school, I decided to attend a community college and make sure that massage was still what I wanted to do. After seeing how I would always desire in my heart of hearts to do massage and that nothing else would satisfy this desire, I went to massage school.

    In massage school it all clicked. I loved learning, and continue to love learning different ways to help people and the different functions of muscles and the systems of the body and how they are affected by massage. I knew beyond a shadow of a doubt that this is what I am supposed to do. I have loved it ever since.

    I think it is very important to love what you do, to not just look at it as a job where you put the time in and you get paid, but something you love doing, and getting paid for it is just a huge bonus!

    When I'm not working, I love to enjoy all that Colorado has to offer. My husband, Brian, and I love hiking 14ers, snowboarding, snowshoeing, backpacking, and just living life with our friends and families. I am thrilled for the adventure that awaits me!
