Originally, I am from Wayne, Pennsylvania a suburb of Philadelphia. While there I began my education, going to massage school for the first time in 1994. I then moved to Kentucky and went back to massage school in 2007 where I got licensed and completed the National Boards. Since then I have continued to develop my interest in massage by working with chiropractors and physical therapists. I just moved to Fort Collins from Kentucky in September. I love living an active lifestyle and because of that can relate to most aches and pains. I run, bike, ride horses, and also enjoy swimming and lifting weights.
Initially I became interested in becoming a massage therapist after receiving my first massage. The benefits of massage therapy I have personally experienced have been life changing. Physically I’m taller, more open and have found relief from a lot of old aches and pains. Mentally I am relaxed, my mind is clear and I am now aware of the need to take care of my own body. These changes in my life began an awareness that pain and discomfort do not have to be a way of life, and that I could be in control of my own health and well being. It was because of this awareness that I decided to pursue massage as a way to help other people in a journey to their own health and wellness. My goal throughout my career has been to help my clients realize that their health is in their hands. I am inspired daily by massage, I love being a part of the healing process and tapping into the miracles of the human body.
